72 1/2 ton power brake booster question
Can any one tell me the difference between Bendix and Delco units,..other than Bendix is flat black and Delco is gold in color?? I am doing a frame off restoration and do not have the booster,m/c or proportioning valve as of yet.I wanted to make sure and head off any potential problems.I have done a quick search. Thanks

Re: 72 1/2 ton power brake booster question
No difference other than appearance and the m/c they use originally, I "think" the delco uses a m/c with dual bails to hold the cover and bendix uses a single wire to hold on cover- however they can be interchanged as my 71 has a bendix type m/c on delco booster. The lines all mount/ attach the same, as do the brackets so nothing to worry about there. I think it really comes down to what you want, a black booster or the cad plated booster.
