Gents,
I can get a decent deal on a 2007 6.0L with a 4L80E trans with less than 100 miles, not 100K, 100. Does anyone make a harness for this engine, or am i going to have to go with a 2005? The guy selling it has the complete harness and ecu.

I have looked at all of the vendors that sell harnesses. I am waiting on a response. I was wondering if anyone here had done this conversion already and had insight on the whole process. I may have to break down and get an older eng/trans combo.

2007 6.0 with less than 100 miles on it! Dang it! I want it.

Depending on the deal you're getting, I'd say buy it. With 100 original miles, you can always sell the engine and trans if you can't get a wiring harness for it.

Call John at Speartech, I'm sure he can hook you up, or at worst, use an earlier computer (which he has) youl want to use one of his custom harness anyway, so you can hide the computer.

The 05 has 35K on it and its only 800 less.

The wiring seems intimidating until you tear into it. A good set of diagrams
and a little encouragement was all it took. It's harder to make the harness
LOOK good than it is to make it work. By modding the stock harness, you can
route it where ever you want AND you can gloat about doin' it yourself, not to mention saving a few hundred bucks.
