Just wanna make sure I get the right ones!

I have heard pullers work best, you would mount them between the radiator and engine, pushers would go between the grill and radiator. I haven't seen too many push setups.

I would think the big 3 did alot of homework on this & most factory set-ups are pullers, that would tip the scales for me since reliability/performance are very important in my book. I think pushers are mainly used when there are space limitations. My .02.

Do I have to have the curved blades?? DO they help that much or can I go with the Straight blades??

Dave,

by far, pullers are the best. Pushers seem to block air going through the radiator if you ask me. Curved blades will increase air flow over straight blades because you get more blade area in the same space.

I'm not sure on the brand. It was a new radiator the guy I bought my truck from had just put in. It's just a stock 2 or 3 core, I'm not sure which. 3 I think.

pushers are typically used in an auxilry fan setup. i put on on my 64 and put a switch on the dash so i could turn it on in traffic in the summer to help keep it under control.

I like a 3 or 4 core depending on work load , engine cube and climate temps . Here in Arizona I go for 4 core on my V8'S .

FAL makes a very good fan, it moves 30% more air than a stock one. The prices aren't bad & they come in different colours!
