steering column shortening -

Just a note for you guys thinking of shortening your steering column for more room, I shortened mine 2" and ended pulling it back out again - if you don't have a tilt, it's too close to your legs, and too low - unless you lower your seat or have a tilt column, I would recommend against it. I have a smaller (15") steering wheel on it and it still hit my legs.

Yea, I shortened my column 3.5" and now I am lowering the seat too. With my new seat foam I am sitting with head above the rear view mirror, not so cool...
