02 silverado lift kit

i got a 2002 silverado 2wd pickup. i want to raise it with 4 inches with suspension and maybe 2 inches on body. But for now i just want to do suspension. i know that i can put a 4 inch blocks in the back and it be enough. But what i cant figure out is how to raise the front. i dont think that it has torsion bars up front but i might be mistaken. Does anyone know how i can raise the front without it hurting my pocket. any advice or pics would be great..

Re: 02 silverado lift kit

I did 3" lift spindles on front of mine. Fairly easy swap - 1day. Don't really remember price as it's been about 4 yrs ago but think ??? I got them for about $300. (I didn't do anything to the back, but I was wanting that prerunner look)

Doesn't look like a whole lot until compare it to before pic. Anyway, seems to put it a tad higher than a stock 4wd.

Re: 02 silverado lift kit

yeah there is a big diference to me. well i got a 305/55/R20 toyo tires combo on it right now. but the fenders are about 4 inches above the tire. i think that another 3 or 4 inches will be fine. i called a local 4x4 shop and they said the only thing that could be done is a 3 inch body lift since its a 2wd. they also try to charge 750 dollars .. i said hell no.. nice truck.. by the way

Here's a place with 3" http://www.roughcountry.com/chevy_2wd_99-06.asp for $289 just spindles. 4" looks to be around $700.FabTech has them too but only as a kit with shocks & blocks for rear at $920!
