WIW: NOS: 3/4 Ton Spicer Hubs / Blue knobs
This is a spare set that I had stashed back. I can't remember what I have into these, but I know its more than $600.00. Not sure, open for comments...
Thanks, DP

Re: WIW: NOS: 3/4 Ton Spicer Hubs / Blue knobs
A guy up in NY had numerous NOS sets with Ford knobs that went for $600-$700 on Ebay. With the yellow knobs at equal, the blue knobs would be about $850-950. Would like first option if you decide to sell. Thanks, Dan

just a quick question, but what's the difference between the yellow and blue knobs?

Re: WIW: NOS: 3/4 Ton Spicer Hubs / Blue knobs
Dave,
you sure have some sweet goodies in your "stash". i have a few sets of used big hubs that have NOS blue knobs, chrome rings and internals but complete units are super rare. i'd guess on evilbay they might bring close to a grand if a "bidding war" broke out.

Re: WIW: NOS: 3/4 Ton Spicer Hubs / Blue knobs
Jerry!
I was hoping you would lend your opinion, I managed to put two sets together years ago, and two set of 1/2 tons, they were the hardest. "Stash" / Reality has set in and I'm realizing that I have way to much stuff and it time to get down to actually what I need to redo the Blazer and "BIG BLACK", yep, 4x4 guy to the bone. NO, two wheel spinners. Any way, I'm think I have at least a grand in them with blue knobs, I have to find my paperwork and check. Probaly put them up for sale on another post in a few weeks. This was just a sanity check... Later DP

I know what you mean about reality hitting you on the accumulated parts stash.I first started selling 30 years of parts a year and a half ago.I never thought I`d see the day.Oh...and I just happen to still have a boxed pair of N.O.S. hubs, too.I was wondering how much they`d be worth.I just still can`t fathom letting these treasures go.But,wow, that`s alot of money!

Re: WIW: NOS: 3/4 Ton Spicer Hubs / Blue knobs
I think I need a set of those. Last time I put my truck into 4 wheel it made a big clunk in one of the front wheels and then it seemed like the front drive didnt work correctly. I had no idea they were so expensive.

Re: WIW: NOS: 3/4 Ton Spicer Hubs / Blue knobs
CG, get a used set from Jerry, if that is what you need. Heck, take it apart and see whats broken, use the picture as a guide or a sevice manual. They are fairly durable.
Special-K, Well at least you have a idea, I have it wrote down on my filed paperwork, prices for each part and where I found them at. Shipping is always a add on too. Think just about the blue knobs and chrome rings, $$. Hey, stay tuned... W314speed, Thanks for input, keep a look out, soon.

Re: WIW: NOS: 3/4 Ton Spicer Hubs / Blue knobs
I know I paid good money for mine a good while back.I just wish I hadn`t been a nice guy and give the pair of N.O.S. knobs/rings to the guy I sold my CheyenneSuper CustomCamper to.The ones on my K2500 are skun-up pretty good.
