15" Drag radial and wheel selection
I've been wanted to purchase some wide rear rims and some drag radials but I got a few questions. Here's the rims I had in mind. These would go on a 77 GMC.
http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku I'm not sure what the widest rim is that will fit under these trucks but I wanted these just because I already have a full set of 15x8's in this style, and these would keep the look matched when I put the drag radials on. The tires are currently BFG Radial T/A 275/60/15. What I'm unsure of is how wide of a tire I should get for the 10 inch rims. I'm also unsure of which brand of drag radial to get. Though I want the most traction possible, I'd like to get as much life out of the tire as I can since drag radials aren't cheap. So far I've considered the BFG drag radials. |
