2 Questions about a 1970 GMC and Chevy
The 1970 Chevrolet has an insert for their grille but does the GMC have one or do you have do something differently? Also about the upper and lower chrome trim can you get just straight chrome without the black paint???

The GMC grill is one piece. No inserts. 70 GMC has no paint on the grill.

Re: 2 Questions about a 1970 GMC and Chevy
What about the chrome trim on the sides upper and lower without the black coloring. Also did GMC or Chevy have a brush guard kinda like the ones you see today on the Z71's or something close to that.

Re: 2 Questions about a 1970 GMC and Chevy
You can find a roll of trim at any decent paint wholesaler. It comes in 20 ft roll all different styles, widths, & thickness. But nothing came but the stock stuff. Which varies between the years somewhat such as the 67/ 68 trim.

Re: 2 Questions about a 1970 GMC and Chevy
GMC and Chevrolet did offer a dealer installed factory brush or grille guard on 67-72 trucks. There was a slight difference between the GMC and Chevy Version due to GMC dual headlamps the bar coming down was mounted inward more. You can view my 68 GMC with the factory grille guard aby clicking on to this site: http://rides.webshots.com/photo/1062...33798696gRyYUt.
