Ask these people who have a Custom Autosound stereo what kind of speakers they are using. If you use $20 speakers, you will get $20 sound quality. I have a Custom Autosound stero, and it works GREAT. Your stereo system is only as good as the speakers.

ya and cutting the dash for a stereo screams OE
Personally I like the looks of the retrosound unit better than the custom autosound.
