What is this?
I took out the windshield and under the seal for the windshield on both pillars was this bondo looking stuff. Any ideas what it is??? What is its purpose? Rare Corvette option....keeps the windshield from popping out on hard acceleration??

You are right in one snese, it IS a rare corvette option, but not due to acceleration but for the massive stopping power....
