original seat covers

I'm looking for a repro original style seat cover for a 65. Anyone know where to get one, or a source for the material? I'd like to find a cloth one with the white stripe but the plain vinyl would work.

SMS Auto Fabrics has the original materials if you want to go that route.

Re: original seat covers

I just got a custom cover made for my 'new to me' bench from http://www.automotiveinteriors.com/.

It's red and white just like this photo...

I intend to post up a series about it when I get some time.

Re: original seat covers

It is odd that nobody sells the correct seat cover for the standard models or the custom models. All '64 and '65's used the same standard vinyl seat in fawn and regardless of the exterior colors ( it's not like they have to reproduce 5 or 6 colors). The 66's had a slightly different fawn pattern. The custom cab seat was vinyl and cloth, and are the same pattern for '64 and '65, '66 was slighty different pattern. These all came fawn also, except for a red version when the vehicle was white or red in '64 or '65. The custom cab seat was an option on the standard models if the "custom comfort" option was ordered. All we ask is to get the same respect as the 67-72 people.
