Hey BBC gurus I have a Air Gap question??
I have a brand new EDL-1407 with the Air-Gap Performer RPM intake installed on my 454. I called summit today to get a throttle bracket / kickdown bracket. they told me that the Air-Gap didn't have direct support for mounting the bracket and that I'd have to use a universal one that mounts to the back left carb stud (which I have).
Problem is, when I mount it, it's too far forward for the kickdown cable to hook up without extending it all the way forward. Then, there's no travel left to go to WOT. Thoughts / suggestions? Thanks! Kenny

Jegs also makes an aluminum throttle/kickdown cable and return spring bracket that uses the front and rear carb studs on the left side. I really wish Edelbrock would get something together for this manifold.
