I'm against the grain here, but I love stepsides. Hauling stuff in them is just fine. The only think you lose is the area in front of and behind the wheelhouses. Sheets of plywood or sheetrock fit in them perfectly.
It's a little trickier to get a good looking rear bumper/rollpan/light treatment on stepsides than fleets, though. Can I trouble you for more pics of your bed cover and where you got it?
