Mirrors

Hey guys, i have seen several custom trucks without side mirrors on the doors. I have a 79 and like how they look without mirrors. I was looking to get the sport type mirrors, buts is this legal to drive around without any at all?

Re: Mirrors

No, you must have a driver mirror + one. Can be either the rear view or pass side, unless you can’t see out the back, then it has to be pass side. Having said that my wife rolled my 94 Toyota 4X4, I took the truck back and popped the top back out with a porta power put a new windshield in it and have driven it with no mirrors, front blinkers, or pass side fender for over a year now and I haven’t been pulled over. So I guess you have to ask yourself, how cool are the cops in my town?

Re: Mirrors

jeez 79 that toy is a menace on the roads i am surprised you dont get stopped for no fender either here youwouldnt get too far with that without a book of tickets the good news is that toyota is recalling the pickups from 92 to present for rotting chassis so you can prolly get alot more than its worth now for it in cash

He's just so happy that "diesel cost 10 cents per gallon less that gasoline." Little did he know, it would cost 70 cents more someday...

My 1986 gets 22 mpg at 60 miles per hour on the interstate.

Which would be cost equivalent or better than 27 mpg diesel.
