The other area we played in was a 750 acre wood lot that had been logged off recently and is for sale, so the owner said 'have a ball'. We did just that, if we saw a hill or ledge worth climbing, up we went making our own trail through/over and around trees, over brush/rocks...it was pretty crazy. |

Re: Recycling a Soft Top
Looks like bunches of fun. For some reason in that first pic I had a vision of a bobbed blazer..... Any plans for some shortening?

Neither will get shortened up. The body has the bumper/fuel cell/skid plate to deal with and they fit/work so well, I don't want to touch em. The wheelbase is a different story however... Hoping to 4-link it before next year, if it actually happens the wheelbase will grow anywhere from 12 to 20 inches longer. Although, if the axle comes back, the fuel cell might be in the way meaning that's gotta be moved to achieve good articulation... |

Body. I think its the roll bar that makes me think slice and dice. The way it stops short of the rear. It looks like it could be bobbed about a foot. But like ya said its already set up like ya want it. Plus if your not draggin' as# then theres no point in all that work, lol.....

Re: Recycling a Soft Top
I vote you don't change your boddy lines at all just keep wheeling it the way it is...after the sheet metal is so warn it starts to bother you, slap on some freash skin and start the process all over again

The places we put our trucks while wheeling seems somehow to have a negative effect on sheet-metal...big mystery to me. |

Re: Recycling a Soft Top
Well maybe it's me but, the body looks short and tall. I thought you had one of them funny lenses on there, like the mirrors at the circus, Makes tall people look short and fat and short people look tall and thin....Maybe it's just old age, dunno....
