Hi from east coast Canada....

Well this is quite interesting. At the age of 44 and computer illiterate I never thought that I would be "posting a new thread". I recently inherited a 1972 Sierra Grande fleetside long box and am in the process of making it the nicest that it can be in memory of it's original owner, Dave Bell.

This truck has never been restored however it is at this moment being professionally painted. Everything and I mean everything is original. The only thing that I want to do is to replace the box rails with crome rails and to put a new oak wood box kit down. Also the front grill and bezzels are quite dull with some crome missing so I am having them recromed.

This truck has not been driven for more than a few miles each year and is going to be a pleasure to give it the TLC that it needs to be an awesome show truck. I will post pictures when I get it back from the Paint shop and I'm hoping that I can get some advice from you all as I work on "ole Bell".

Thanks and may the Good Lord Bless each of you

Hello Bell72, that is a beautiful GMC, and I think the respect you are showing toward the original owner and his truck is very commendable!

I am looking foreward to seeing more pics!

Welcome from the Black Hills---DAC
