Pics of '57 Hood Rust Repair.....
A customer dropped off this hood for some rust repair....seems like a common problem, but what do I know....I'm a 60-66 guy !!!!
Anyway, here are some pics to share, for the hell of it !!! - - (In the background is the "Project Z069" BTW) - It was rusty in the exact same spot on both sides.....right at the bottom of the corners , where all the crap collects between the skin and the brace... - - I found some material that worked out great..... - - I had some left over 3 1/2" galvinized exhaust pipe left over from a diesel mod, and found the radius was dam near perfect !!! - - - - - - -
