Header question...

Ok I've got a '98 Silverado with the 57.l Vortec and am looking to put some shorty headers on it, now can I just get some shorty headers for a 350 that's fuel injected or do I need to get year/vehicle specific?

Shouldn't the difference be a hole for the O2 sensor?

Re: Header question...

Are the bolt -patterns similar? If so, then look at this project as "What do you need"? and do the things necessary to answer that question. Exhaust is Exhaust (it is a route out of your truck and only that---it can be improved upon for flow, but that is about all) so if you need a sensor, then get one with the bung on it. If you do not need a sensor, then either plug it, or get one that does not have the opening.
