Behind the seat fuel tank is approximately 20 US gallons.
Not sure what specs you are looking for:
For a VIN decoder try:
Anerican classic VIN Decoder
Check out the vendor’s sites on the left hand side of the home page.

If you have some specific information you need about a 69 model such as production numbers, engine size or option codes.
Just ask or use the search option to check the archives.

Also there is information packet available from GM for free that they will send you which has alot of generic info about your model of truck.

Have fun

best way would be to drain the tank; put in a measured 5 gallons; drive to a gas station and fill 'er up; add the 5 galls to the fill-up and ...... voila..... toy have the capacity of the tank !!!!!!!!!!!

These specs are from a 72 GMC owners manual and sales brochure I have. The specs should be the same for Chevy . c15 (c10) gas tank behind the seat 20.2 gallons, c25-35 (20-30) 21.0. gvw is between 4600-5400. Please let me know what other specs you may need.
