1973 C10 wheel fitment

I just picked up a half ton short bed and am trying to decide between 18's or 20's. I'm not a fan of running two different size wheels and tires so i'd like to run the same size front and rear.

the truck will be dropped somewhere between 4 and 5 inches.

What's the widest wheel/tire combo i can fit in the rear?

Can someone provide me with some pics and sizes i can look at? thanks!

Re: 1973 C10 wheel fitment

There are a few threads in the FAQ Index Thread that might have some useful info.

THREAD 1

THREAD 2 (looks like mostly 67-72 though)

Also, my buddy has 20s on his lowered truck and there is some info in the thread HERE.

20x10's in back w/a 295/40. You might be able to go as wide as 315/35's but finding the right width wheel will be a challange (11-12"). The rear drop is ~8"....

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.
