Arrow FS: Factory Warn 8274 Winch & Bumper off 72 K/5 - OR.

WARN factory winch bumper (bolt on type) with roller fairlead and Warn winch model #8274 w/150' of 5/16" steel cable and wired plug in remote hand control. This Warn winch has had VERY LITTLE use which its condition shows, it is rated for 8,000 pounds and is ready to go to work. Do a Google search on this model number for lots more great info online, I am only removing it to make my 72 K/5 blazer more original in appearance with the stock type chrome sport bumpers. $450... for all. Due to size and weight this would have to be picked up in Portland, OR.

For you off roaders, there is NOTHING better then a good 8274 Winch. It should sell for $600.+ on e-bay in that condition so you all better wake up as this is a super deal!! Huck

Classic Bowtie -

I will send payment today if you would consider shipping to California. I would pay shipping, of course. Would not be too bad if sent by a freight company.

I also have a really nice chrome sport bumper with the chrome bumperettes for a 72 that I would throw in to sweeten the deal.

If you do decide to ship, put me in line after gn4u2c2. Thanks.

Re: FS: Factory Warn 8274 Winch & Bumper off 72 K/5 - OR.

Thanks for the interest guys, but would really like to try and get rid of it locally first due to its size/weight which is probably around 250 pounds. This is a very clean unit that has had very little use, as huck already stated above it is priced to sell as these used 8274's are bringing $5-600. alone and most likely not in this nice of condition.

Anyone have an idea as to what would need to be done to prepare for shippment and or any ideas on how much $$$ shipping something like this could cost? Thanks

looks like greyhound would be about $140.00 to me (terminal north street york pa )just tape the remote/ cables to the bumper where the spool/ fairlead gap is so they don't get smashed. wrap it in a old blanket and duck tape the crap out of it so it does not get all scratched up.

Re: FS: Factory Warn 8274 Winch & Bumper off 72 K/5 - OR.

I am very interested in this winch and bumper, I have questions about frame mounting it on a 71 GMC. Will this bolt up or are the holes different? How hard is it to wire up? I can pick it up in the middle of June if necessary. Any chance pics of it running? Thanks
Michael

If you are smart enough to ground the black wire and run the red one to the positive side of the battery you are good to go. Make sure you tie the power cable up good best to wire loom it or cover it with old hose so it does not rub through and burn your truck down. bolts right up to a GMC or chevy (same frame)

I think I'm still #1 if it comes down to shipping it ??

I shipped an old Warn winch similar to that one. I crated it up in a plywood box and shipped it UPS for $85. I wasn't aware of DHL at the time but I am sure they would be cheaper. I had the same bumper and gave it away because no one wanted it locally and it would have been a fortune to ship.

Nope your still first, just wondering about those questions.
I will take it if it gets to me. And if you can wait til the middle of june to have it picked up. Like 18 or 19 of June. And assuming that it gets to me.
PayPal OK.
