New Seat Question
I have set of 2003 Chev LS integrated shoulder seats with console to put in my truck. I also have an ECE rear mounted gas tank to go in as well which would mean removing the cab gas tank. I'm not ready to yank the box to install the rear tank but would like to have the seats installed now. I'm wondering if anyone knows if the seat will go further back ( as I'm 6'2" with
34" inseam ) with the tank out of the cab. Both sides are power and from my previous experience power seats always go a little further back that the manual ones.

Re: New Seat Question
I dont think it matters. The seat will hit the back of the cab, tank or no tank.

Re: New Seat Question
greg, i have a pair of 01 buckets in my truck, i doesnt make much difference with the tank in or out, the seats do go further back if you don't mind having the back straight up and down, i'm 6'3 and know what you mean about the leg room.

Re: New Seat Question
in a comfortable position, they will eat more room though.
And IMO comfortable is not a word used to describe these seats. The vinal or leather ones aren't as bad as the cloth ones though. And make sure you reenforce the crap outta the floor. Last edited by Longhorn Man; 06-04-2008 at 08:12 PM. |
