Re: 50th ann. how do you tell?

I'm just glad to see someone post a picture of my truck other than me . That means that some one else likes it other than me . Feel free to post pics of my truck anytime you want . When your ready to build that half ton to match mine let me know I can help you with some specs. Any paint progress for you yet? Bob

Re: 50th ann. how do you tell?

they are also CST trucks correct?

polished windsheild and backlight trim, chrom around the ignition and cigerette lighter and additional insulation under the dash?

Re: 50th ann. how do you tell?

The 50th Anniversary package came with many CST elements but not the full CST package. I will have to go back and look at my packages to be sure. I know the Longhorn 50th came with CST badges but to get the full CST package such as gold carpet vs. gold rubber floor mat you also had to order the CST, rather than the Custom Comfort package. You might have been able to order a 50th plain jane...just not sure anyone did...they always enhanced it with at least the Custom Comfort package. That is a very good question and I will look into that.

Bob, I am getting back on it this weekend...it has been tough to find the time. I will finish pulling the door hardware and hopefully finish the driver side doors this weekend. I still need to scuff the firewall, scuff the inside of the cab, finish sanding the back of the cab and front of the box. I will also spray some Rustoleum into the A pillars, B pillars and rockers before I prime. I will post some progress pics on Sunday.

Thanks for the questions...they keep me motivated...LOL!

Re: 50th ann. how do you tell?

there was a LWB 68 50th here for sale, it was a c/10, no option package at all. Had a handfull of actual options, but the trim level was base model.

That pretty much answers the question for me. Thanks Andy...I thought you could order just the paint. I have only seen gold visors but one board member said he had an anniversary truck with white, so I am not sure about that. As for the dash pad...I have only seen gold.
