Hot Rod Power Tour - 08 Photos (add 'em on)

Here's a few photos from the Little Rock kickoff. I have more, but just wanted to throw these out for you to see and let more add pix as the tour progresses.

I waited and waited for them to load, but it ain't happening. Add yours as you get 'em....I'll keep tryin'

Still can't attach photos. vBulletin says, "You do not have permission to access this page....."

IT'S MY POST!!!!! Who else has a better right than me????? According to the "You May's...", I may post attachments. C'Mon.....let's get it fixed!!

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Great pics, looks like it will be a great Power Tour.

I was wondering the same thing about the tailegate above.

The kids, mainly the granddaughter, got hot and whiney. I had planned on staying longer. Looks like more trucks showed up after I left. The SPAL truck sounds just like mine, but his is healthier than mine....running a Camaro 5.7. It has a combination intercooler/condenser in front of the radiator.

It really ticks me off that I can't post pix. Hopefully the admin folks will get it resolved after I notified them.

But, it was a warm day, huh?

The black '67 with red rims sure makes me wistful. Found out yesterday that the guy doing my truck has lymphoma. Just pray for him and hope he has a successful treatment....not just because he has my truck in pieces.

To me the SPAL truck has the perfect size tires and rims and the stance is right on as well. I want my Blazer set up this way some day.

Before they parked it at their vendor site, he had not yet aired it out. The sound of that truck was so close to the sound of mine, that to my ears, it was uncanny. I don't have nearly the motor he has, nor the 700R4, nor nearly anything else. I have three pix of it...interior/engine. But it has the right stance. Mine has a static drop that won't approach this, but it's what I can afford.

I wish we had gone for the long haul. I'm truly sad it's over with for us!!

No telling when anything like the Power Tour will get back down our way.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.
