Here I go!!!!!!

Well I finally got the cab off and now I must begin the journey of cleaning, painting my frame. I am also doing a 5 lug swap along with disc brakes and power steering. I also have the blazer gas tank install to do. I have the early classic tow hitch setup. I am aslo installing the early classic crossmember so I can convert from leafs to coil springs. Bought a lot of new parts and now it is time to get to work. I also have a whole new suspension setup. My wife is going to kill me if she sees what I have spent...

Re: Here I go!!!!!!

Looks good, I remember when my 67 looked like that, wait it still does. That looks like it could be a nice mustang peeking out of the garage.

the mustang caught my eye too. Always liked them in that color... one of the few colors that doesn't make it look like a chick car.

Re: Here I go!!!!!!

I dont have that problem with my girlfriend. She just looks at me and asks if everything else is taken care of...and if it is...then I am ok. She did kinda freak a little when I told her it was going to cost between 12 to 15,000.00 to restore one truck! I told her it would be done over time.

Re: Here I go!!!!!!

My wife is pretty cool about the funds. We just bought a house and she has just remodleled the kitchen and added three rooms. She finally got even with me after years of buying and trading cars.
