so i am going to be buying the disk brake upgrade kit from cpp, it is the (grand slam) # 6770gsk6d the kit comes with all the brake parts, 2 1/2 drop spindals and 4 coils and shocks. it gives me the choice of how much i want to lower the truck.

if i order it with the 4/6 drop coils and the 2 1/2 drop spindals will i have problems with rubbing in the front fender well?
my tires are 275/40/20 ?

does anyone have 4/6 coils with 2 1/2 spindals??

I don't know if this will help you are not, but I have 3" drop springs on front and 4" drop springs on the rear and I run the same sized wheels/tires all the way around that you have listed (275 -40-20's) and I don't have any rubbing issues. As a matter of fact I'm going to drop the back two more inches.

If you would like to see stance photos, be sure to check out ECE (Early Classic Enterprises), they make some great parts, but they also have a page that is dedicated to the different stances that can be done on the same pickup. Check out their stance page here... click on the next option at the bottom of the page for the 67-72 models.

There's a lot of guys that are running a 4/6 kit, and I'm actually planning on running a 4.5/6 kit (2" springs/2.5" spindes (front); 6" springs (rear) as well as shock relocators and a supertrac bar) basically ECE's kit.

Okay, here's the truck. It has 3" drop springs on the front and 4" drop springs on the rear, stock shocks, and that is it. It is running 275-40-20's all the way around. No rubbing issues. We are still going to drop it 2" in the rear. Right now it sits 2.5" higher in the rear. It is not really MY truck it is my son's. He turns 16 next year and we are trying to get it fixed-up for him. We have a lot of body work to do. The bigger picture is poor quality, sorry about that, but I think it will serve the purpose.
