4 Inch Lift Q's

I am installing a 4 incher springs in front blocks in rear. All I have are the hardware and springs/blocks.....What else do I NEED. Pitman arm? Extended brake lines? Any advice appreciated.

All of the above, or you could substitute the pitman arm with a raised steering arm. In some cases you might need to lengthen the front drive shaft but most you do not.

Pro to using rear blocks is you keep the factory spring rate in the rear
Con is AXLE WRAP

Pro to using rear lift springs, get rid of axle wrap
Con is stiffer ride in rear

Just something to think about.

Re: 4 Inch Lift Q's

you shouldnt need to extend brake lines, i didnt use a pitman arm, when you put yr 14 bolt in did you have to use new spring perches? i did and the perches was taller than stock ones and the rear sit up about 1 inch higher than the front which i didnt like so i took my blocks out and cut a 1 inch off , now it sits level, good luck to ya , becareful and use jackstands,

Re: 4 Inch Lift Q's

You can just take the brake hose out from through the frame and locat on the bottom of the frame.Driveshafts,no problem with 4".I like to use the drop steering arm and leave the piman arm & drag link stock.
As said,be careful.Keep a clear mind of what is still with the truck and what`s not when chocking.Do one axle at a time so there`s always at least one end stable.
Have fun.Nothing better than hopping in a freshly lifted truck.
