59 Apache Photos...finally

Before

After

Still lots to do in the interior and eventually the emblems will be rechromed and put back on. I am thinking about chroming out the bumpers and grill eventually too. This was from the thread "Front end question for 59 Apache"

I didnt know how to change the title to let you all know that the pics were up. ANyway, enjoy...

also, if anyone is interested in the old wheels, let me know.

Re: 59 Apache Photos...finally

I like how you have your exhaust exit. Nice touch! I see you have 5 lug wheels on the front and 6 in the back. Are you planning on a rear end or axle swap so they all match? The chrome you got planned will help the appearance, but thats only my opinion.

Re: 59 Apache Photos...finally

eventually I will upgrade the whole rear end and suspension but I shot my wad on all the upgrades this round. Next year or winter time I plan to do the rear end.

Its actually black base with 4 shades of silver spray done to look like bare metal, it is shaded on some of the lines as well. I will get better pics with a real camera rather than cell phone. I kept the top of the dashboard red and the interior is black primer with black velvet covered door panels.

Re: 59 Apache Photos...finally

Looking good. I can't wait to get my truck going again. Maybe I'll get it done while we still have gas powered vehicles? Cool looking truck! Chrome will set it of nicely!
