Re: led tail lights

Also be sure to check out 724X4a/cchevy (Justin), he actually makes his own LED lights for these trucks. And, unlike the one above, his LED's light up the full panel.

Re: led tail lights

ECE's aren't a bad choice either, and they are great to deal with. Be sure to post some pics when you get them installed.

Re: led tail lights

Just got a quote on these today.

The 1967-’72 inserts feature 160 individual bulbs per panel!
$188.88 plus $10.00 shipping.
You can use the red or clear lens with these and still be dot legal.
All LED's are red.

I have been ordering parts from Ryan. He has been pretty helpful on all of my parts. Thats who I am getting my guage panel and glove box through. You can reach him at:

Re: led tail lights

I know that Justin's LED's were running around $90 dollars with a one year warranty. The only additional thing to purchase is a switch, I don't remember what it's called, but it's only like $5-15 at your local parts store.

Re: led tail lights

Our new full panel LED's are due out this month. Lights are done, waiting for instructions to be finished. Price will be comparable to ECE's and carry lifetime warranty.

Re: led tail lights

I have the last version that Mike was selling and they are great. Much brighter than stock (which is great for rainy Seattle traffic) and I don't have the bulb burn-out issues I was having previously. They one contained unit (lens, bulb, plug), are easy to install and I like that the lense patterns are designed diffuse the LED light.
