69 Front Brake Conversion????
If this has already been asked I'm sorry I couldn't find it... lol I have a 69 Suburban and want to convert the front brakes from drum to disc. SSB, Summit, Jegs, and LMC Trucks said they have nothing. Anyone know where to find one or can I just get a kit for another year that will work. Help! Thanks ahead of time!

Re: 69 Front Brake Conversion????
They obviously do not know the applications they carry for trucks are the same for the Suburban, if its a 1/2 Suburban you can find everything you need on the following page of our web site
http://www.gmcpauls.com/Brakes&Steering.htm Our kits our made in the USA by McGaughy's and you have your choice from a basic kit where you pick up some parts you need to our deluxe kit which supplies everything needed to convert. If its a 3/4 ton get the 71-87 3/4 ton spindles ( Yes 71-87 3/4 ton spindles are all the same ), rotors, calipers, & bearings which are available through local auto parts stores and change ball joints & tie rods to the 71-72 style to install. If you have any questions give me a ring at the store M-f 9am-5pm EST at 765-569-2906 and I'll be happy to explain it all. GMCPaul |
