Oil dipstick tube rotation
can these be rotated? I tried to on mine, but it would not move.
I have to reach under the steering linkage to get it and definitely takes 2 hands to get it back in.... you can see part of it here... seems like it should be pointing up instead of sideways.....

You should be able to rotate it - they are pressed in - yours sounds like it's frozen.

ummm man yeah sounds like its frozen when i check my oil my tube and dip stick pull out as one which i cant seem to fix

its pressed in, it shouldn't spin without SERIOUSE effort.
I would try bending it gently. It probably got snagged when being pulled sometime in the past. |
