fender question

Hi, Im new to this board and would like to know how to adjust my fenders on my 70 chevy,The gap between hood and fenders is 1/2 inch at the front and tappers down to 1/4 inch at the cowl,(both sides) I took lose the bolts from the radiator support but the fenders wont move in,Which bolts do i need to remove?? Thanks Mark.

Loosening the bolts at the triangles and the bolts that bolt the front of the fender to the support should allow you to move the fenders in.

The fenders will not move in easily and you may have to elogate some of the holes to gain 1/2" as that is a lot.

Loosening the two rear fender to cab bolts may also help you in moving the fronts of the fenders in.
