Wheel hop
I just replaced my 308 posi with a set of 411's, and now have a bad case of wheel hop. My truck is a long box with leaf springs. Does any one know how to STOP the HOP

An old school method was to install a set of Air Lift air springs....drag racers would preload them, to offset the side that would hop. The old ads showed them burning rubber with both tires with nothing more than the Air Lifts installed.

I had the same problem, believe it or not, when I put my Gaylord's tonneau cover on (100 lbs.) it completely stopped.

i got it also blew up 1 yoke and 2 ddrive shafts. i'm geting tration bars built that wil lride on the frame and i'm gonna lock up the front springs

If both of your shocks are mounted in front of the rear end, then you can remove one from the front and place it behind the rear end. You will have to make new brackets. Alot of people do it to 4x4's so you don't get wheel hop on rough roads. Your case probably needs traction bars, but every little bit helps.

Thanks guys, I was hoping for something a little more discreet than old school traction bars.
I have a soft tonneau right now. I will look at the shock set up today. Has anyone heard of a "hotchkis setup"?
