Re: MSD worth it???
I am a full supporter of the digital e-curve distributor. I don't plan on buying the box, but the digital timing curves and built-in rev limiter make for a really predictable, dependable unit.
I would buy an e-curve dist. over an hei with MSD box any day of the week. |

Re: MSD worth it???
Love it -- Download and read the manual, it clearly explains everything. http://www.msdignition.com/pdf/frm26...94_e_curve.pdf
Having both an MSD 6al with stock HEI And, my current setup with just the E-curve -- If you "gotta have" some type of aftermarket ignition, I would go with this distributor above buying an ignition box ![]() Down the road-- you can still add-in a 6A, and get the multi spark. The downside: Obviously, it's a piece of electronic equipment. I imagine a total failure would just leave you along the road somewhere. Usually with electronics, you either got a good one, or you don't, so maybe not such a big deal. The timing curves aren't infinitely adjustable, but I think what they provide you with would suit just about anyone. |
