Looky what I found!

Found this on Louisville craiglist Sunday morning. Went up and bought it. Here are the stats. 1970 C-10, 76,396 ORIGINAL miles, 307 v8, auto, factory air. Original paint. needs rockers, cab corners, and grille. No rust in or on the bed. along with the truck came, 2 new chrome bumpers in their boxes, new driver fender( front of fender was hit light with grille) a 350 long block, new door handles exterior and interior, new weatherstrip and door channel felt, new mirrors, a 7101 edelbrock intake in the box, a new heater core, water pump, 3 core radiator, belts, hoses, cap, rotor, wires, plugs, fuel pump, wiper blades, and 2 - 15 ft chains the guy bought to bring the truck home. All the parts are new and still in their boxes in the bed of the truck waiting to be put on. The wheels have been sandblasted and powder coated including the sapre, and 5 new tires with NO miles on them have been mounted. Here are a few pics. It has some dings and a few dents, but it is a great start. Gonna do this truck and sell to finance the 65 shop truck the rest of the way. PRICE.........$700.00. It was on craigslist for over 24 hours when I found it, and the guy said I was the first to call about it. Jerry

Re: Looky what I found!

What a steal! That woulda been gone in a few minutes around these parts. I am actually looking for one just like it at the moment to buy for my Dad, as he drove one for a few years back in the 70s.

I am using the intake on the 65 shop truck! Hadn't bought one yet and here one falls in my lap. Traded some bodywork last night for a 650 double pumper, some weldstar wheels and a cowl induction hood for a 69-72. so I am slowly building up parts without cash out of pocket!
