Removal of front bump-steering stop.. HOW?
Hey guys, another question... how have you guys removed the front bump/steering stop? I read to cut it off w/sawzal and then grind remains which is what i've done, but DAMN its a LOT of grinding... any other ideas???

it only takes like 5 min an arm. put the blade between the two pieces

what gringo said. Clean off the lip on the steering/bump stop. You will see a number of spot welds. Center punch the spot weld, drill it out, then take a hammer and chisel to between the arm and bump stop to pry it up. They come off real easy.

ah, everything was so gunked up i never saw the welds, will do that... thanks guys!

Just a question,... I understand removing the "bumpstop",... but why remove the steering stop?
