rear end height

I am ready to install my 4-link setup and was wondering was the minumum distance from the rear end to frame before needing a c-notch? Also anyone using a driveshaft loop. How far from the ground is the loop?

Re: rear end height

I'd say that you need to find out what the coil-overs measure bottomed out and what ride height is. If bottomed out is 10" and ride height is 14", then you need 4" for the stroke plus 1" for extra added saftey.

Re: rear end height

Ride heights vary. Wheel and tire size vary. What truck you got?

When I get to building mine (56panel)the ride height will be around 5" so my tubes are going to be in the upper part of the frame. here's a drawing of the setup i'm working on.

You need to figure out your ride height and tire height.
