Sure, post up one w/my knuckles white, all I saw was tree tops and sky. Sure felt steeper then the pic. shows

Looks like fun. Not much rocky terrain like that around here. About the best wheeling would be in the river valleys, at least the parts that aren't corn fields.

My breakage for the weekend consisted of:
*Ripping the brake hard line off the frame where it connected to the drivers front caliper. (area where it exits the frame)

*Also ripped my rear axle line locks of the top of the diff., both solenoids and wiring is all garbage now.

Goes to show, nothing is safe...

That is a friend of my sons, pretty much all stock. Just motor work, and a lift, and I don't think he has 1 ton axles, but I could be wrong

Yes, he's on ton's.
6" lift w/37" tired ass SSR's.
Rear is locked, not sure on the front, could be a limited.
Hidden winch behind the bumper and a home-brew grill.
His K5 does really well, a good solid wheeler considering it's his driver.

How the heck did you rip the line locks off the top of the diff??? They looked pretty safe from the pic I remember seeing.

Uhmmm...yeah me too.
Sent an unseen rather large log right over the top of the diff at speed.
It came out of a big mud puddle, so way to see it at all.

Tore everything the shatt, I'll be replacing the lone lock set up as it worked REALLY well but will do it a wee bit different this time 'round.

So....you tore out a front hardline and the line locks for the rear end were demolished. Besides maybe a boat anchor, did you have anything left to stop the truck at the end of the day???!?

, true a lot of damage but I still had good brakes.

Used the opposite end of the front line, screwed it back onto the hard-line and used a set of vice grips to block it off with.
In the rear, I was able to pull the solenoids out of the loop and remake the hard lines back into the distribution block, all was fine from there.

This time though, I'm just going to mount a single line lock solenoid up on the firewall near the master cylinder.
One will work as good as the both did before and in a single solenoid application, it will allow me to use it as a temp. parking brake too.
