Re: Anyone use one of these
I remember seeing one in a truck at a show, and it looked pretty good. The truck owner said that it fit pretty good.

Re: Anyone use one of these
if you wanted to go through the trouble of doing it you can run the speaker wires in the rear cab corners up to the head liner and drill a hole for them to come out of

Re: Anyone use one of these
actually, no you couldn't. The pinch weld on the top rear edge blocks it off.

Re: Anyone use one of these
I've got one in my truck. Had it for over nine years. I love it, the radio is right there, the speakers are there, and with a little speaker upgrade the sound quality is pretty sweet. Plus ya dash doesnt get chopped up and the theives aint looking overhead for your stereo. Install is easy. Wires can be ran along with your interior light through the cab.

Re: Anyone use one of these
Jeff, I know this isn't a 67-72, but I recently put one of these in my 87. I bought it from LMC, and it came black. I used Specialty Rust-Oleum for Plastic to paint it, that paint kicks butt! I did drill a hole in the center of the roof towards the back to fish all the wires, 73-87 must not have the pinch weld LongHair speeks of. I used the part for the radio to mount my plow controls and exterior lighting switches. The speakers are OK for a factory radio like I use, but if you have a better system you will want to fit better speaks into the Highliner. I will definitely put one of these in any truck I do an iterior remodel on from now on, including the 79 this winter, and maybe the 72 next summer or winter. Hope this helps.

Re: Anyone use one of these
I'm 6 feet tall and have yet to bump my head on a speaker or the headliner. Of course I havn't jumped any ditches with the truck yet.
