Fan clutch was going out so i went with the electric. I'm planning on updating the gas tank with an s-10 blazer tank mounted between the bedrails.

Re: 68 in work
Very nice clean truck. you've done nice with what you have spent. I like pulling stuf from here and there and making it work and look good at the same time. Good job.

Re: 68 in work
I don't think the S-10 Blazer tank hangs down as far, so you can't see it from the back. Whether that is a problem or not depends on what bumper you are using. On the other hand, they don't hold as much gas either....

Re: 68 in work
With a s-10 tank you have to cut alot of your frame. the s-10 tank has an odd shape. I dont have a picture but saw it and didn't like it so I did a fullsize tank. Fits perfect and looks like it belongs in my truck. Just my opinion.
Does anybody have a picture of an s-10 tank installed to show what I mean? Here is my tank from a fullsize, I think an 84 he said.

Re: 68 in work
IIRC and hopefully someone will chime in,the seats need one spacer to mount. They may need to have a couple holes drilled too.I know someone has done this so here's a tt for more info on that.

Re: 68 in work
I used the white face gauges - I like the looks. I used a car gas tank that fit between the rear frames, cant remember what it came out of.
