Will a 2/2 work with 275/60s on 15x10s all around?

I've searched and haven't found a clear answer. This is on a 79 2wd Blazer.

Thanks.

Someone's gotta know, help a bowtie gear-head out. I've always had 4x4 K-5's that I lifted. The 2wd lowering thing is new to me.

Why wouldnt it? Just as long as your spacing on your 10's are good. I dont think it should be a problem.
But I also seen that you dropped this post in Here, http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/forumdisplay.php?f=4 where it should be.

it might work but won't look right on a lowered truck. The tires would stick out of the wheel wells which is an ok 4x thing but not attractive on a 2x truck in my book. The tires might be too tall to look right also. That setup may end up making the Blazer look like a Hot Wheels toy.
Look around for someone with a C-10 pickup that is set up close to the way you want the Blazer to look and find out what size wheels and tires they have. Brand and style of the wheels isn't important but you are looking for fit and stance and go from there.

I'm not looking to sit the body down around the wheels/tires, just close the fender to tire gap to something reasonable. I know they'll stick out a hair but that's ok with me, as long as the fronts don't rub. I'm not going for the traditional slammed look. This one will look a little different.

If your droppin the front with springs it might come out the same cause of stock spring sag.

I plan to use Summit's 2" drop spindles if I can. They say they're for 1" rotor brakes only so I need to see what I have first. 2" spindles plus the sagging springs will let me see if I like it lower and if the tires rub before I replace the front springs.

I think the backspacing is 4.5". I didn't have a choice.

255/70's on 8 inch rims here. 15x8 rims, 2 1/2 inch drop spindles, and 2" blocks in the rear. no rub, great ride, cool look. I would post a pic, but aint smart nuff.

cheak out this truck. It has 2.5" spindles in the front, and leafs removed in the back. I would be careful with the 10" rims with a spindle drop. Might get some rubbing on the control arms/spindle. Can you go 8"?

Also it has 275/60R15 all the way around.

That's a beautiful truck. Thanks for the pics, I'm confident now I can get the look I'm going for. I already have the wheels, so 15x10 it is. They just called, they're powdercoated now. I'll pick them up Friday when I'm off and see if Sams has those size BFG's in stock.
