Locking Gas Cap Reminder!

With stealing gas from vehicles on the rise, I bought a locking gas cap from a national parts store. The computer gave out the part number I needed, and of course I bought it. Well, after a few days of running, I needed a fill-up. When I unlocked the cap, it almost flew out of my hand because of all the pressure in the tank! Yes, they sold me a non-vented cap, and since I threw the receipt and packaging away, I made it a vented cap myself. So, just be careful which one you buy if purchasing!

Re: Locking Gas Cap Reminder!

That's a pretty good plan I may end up doing the same
