Re: What rear end is this?

That's the correct Eaton HO52 for 3/4 tons. Its probably the stock rearend. That's a WHOLE lot more rearend than a regular 10 bolt. They are real strong, but gearsets are limited.

Re: What rear end is this?

4.10 was standard in small block/automatic 3/4 ton trucks, may have been witht he 4 sped trucks, and avalible in other combos... so yeah, it was avalible in the eaton/corperate HO52 rear end.

Re: What rear end is this?

Most likely, that was the standard gearset, but they could also be had with 4.56, 5.14, and 5.38's. 4.10's are the highest gearset it could have had from the factory, and it is the most common in 3/4 T's.

Re: What rear end is this?

never heard of the 5.38, not in this generation of truck.
The standard base model C/20 gear was 4.56

Re: What rear end is this?

Is there a list of parts from a 14 Bolt will interchange with these rear ends? I need to know before I just swap a 14 Bolt into mine.
