Vendor Question
I would like to hear some feedback about "American Classic Truck Parts", one of the Vendors on the board.
Has anybody bought any parts from them?

Re: Vendor Question
They are likely to be good people. But they kinda ticked me off a couple of years ago when I wanted to do a blazer tank conversion. They are semi-local to me, but wouldn't let me come out and pick the tank up from them so I could avoid shipping charges. I ordered it from Truck and Car Shop in Cali. as a silent form of protest. Since then, I've never given them another thought.
That's my only experience with them. Jay

Re: Vendor Question
A common mistake people make when looking for our Board Supporting Vendors is they click on the front page of this site and click on the spot to the left that says "vendors". Yes these people sell stuff for our rides, its just a big list of places to look.
Board supporting vendors have their names in RED, You can find them here. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/showgroups.php Scroll down to where you see the names in red. American Classic Truck Parts isnt on the board list. Last edited by CG; 06-26-2008 at 08:19 PM. |

Re: Vendor Question
Thanks for the tip CG!
I asked them a question and got no as an answer. No dear mister or regards, just NO. I wrote again and got a little better answer with "Better now?" at the end. Not too friendly. The way it sounds, they are a wholesaler and donīt want to sell single parts. I will check out the "Right" list later.
