Rob- I probably am....there's a small washer between the nut and bushing....that's all that came with the KYBs

What should it look like?

I would put one one big enough to cover the rubber bushing. Something like a fender washer should work. Here's a picture.

Maybe they're not needed, but I believe in OVERKILL on suspension and brake stuff, .

I just got the same KYB shock setup from ECE, and all it came with was the lock washers, so that's all I used. Those shocks have a larger sleeve? than the KYB gas-adjusts that were on my truck before, so maybe that's why they don't use a flat washer? I plan on keeping an eye on everything for a bit after I get it all put back together though. I can just see my front suspension falling off after I hit the switches on the bag setup
