bowtieboy - what you posted would work well if you are traveling through metal, the only problem is the bushing through the metal has the airline fitting on both ends. You need the push fitting on the one end and a screw in fitting on the other end for your reducer bushing.

Here are some pictures of the emergency fills I had set up. I bought all of my fittings from hoseandfittings.com
