Factory Tint

I picked up a set of factory tinted glass at the junk yard. It looks a little greenish. How good does this stuff look when installed? Does anyone have any pictures?

Re: Factory Tint

I've got factory tint on the rear window. It's looks good to me... although it's so light I didn't even notice it until I read the SPID and then took a closer look.

Mine could be greenish. But my whole truck is dark olive green, so it probably goes together well.

Re: Factory Tint

Here's mine. These are not factory, but aftermarkets similar to those that the vendors are selling. Rear glass & windshield are also tinted, but they were installed by a local glass company. Everything has a light tint. Wasn't sure if I was going to like it, but I very satisfied with it.

Re: Factory Tint

Glass is naturally somewhat green and the thicker it gets, the greener it gets. Did you ever notice the edge of a glass shelf? one where it is polished like in a display case. When you get really thick (over 3/8" or so) it gets really noticable. Unless it is colored to be otherwise, it will look green, at least a little.
