Need Hupcap Help !!!

Does anyone out there recognize these hubcaps ? I need to replace them since the dorks at the tire store dented them all up putting on my new tires. I've done extensive internet research and came up with nothing. Lots of baby moons, but I can't find the full moon at 11 5/8 inch across the back of the cap. Any advise would help me out, thanx. Re: Need Hupcap Help !!!

Number one: I'd be speaking (harshly) to the manager of that store and tell him HE had to come up with the replacements.

They look like the baby moons that Chevy used in the late '60's and early '70's, if they have a bowtie in the center.

The fact that his workers can't take care of a customers' stuff is not an excuse to blow it all off. It shouldn't be YOUR expense, but theirs.

Re: Need Hupcap Help !!!

is that a 1/2 ton, or a 3/4 ton.
If it is a 1/2 ton, then yeah, common on a handfull of cars back in the day, but many were thrown away 30 years ago. Nova is one that I am 100% certian they came on. (assuming that is a bow tie I see in the center)
If it is a 3/4 ton, then they are aftermarket, and you'll probably never find any.

I agree, the tire place needs to cough up some cash once you locate some, or a suitible replacement.

^ I agree. But I would make them do the research.I mean if they have to work to find them then maybe it will be an object lesson their parents should have taught.I know it sucks parenting someone elses grown children but it's either that or live with their limited concept of responsibility.

Yeah, it's a 3/4 ton. The store is going to kick down for the replacement, but he's having trouble trying to find them. I thought I would help him out. These are 16 inch wheels, by the way. Any thoughts on trying to bang out the dents ???

There is a guy here I know that can get the dents out and make them look new.

Try these guys out. I'd give them a call to see if they may have what you need.
