WOW-New Copies-Classic Truck 10/03 How to tell the difference between 67-72 GM Trucks
I was going through some boxes that have been in storage from moving a few years ago and I found 15 brand new copies of Classic Truck Oct. 03. One of the featured articles was...A "67-72" GM Spotters Guide "What's the difference? This article show the differences between 67-72 GM Trucks such as...the Grilles, Fender Markers & Emblems, Rear Windows, Taillight Moldings, Mirrors, Door Panls, Bucket Seats, etc. I don't ever remember when I purchased these. Great info and pictures. Not sure what I am going to do with these as I don't need 15 copies sooooo...I am going to sleep on it. Maybe a contest...Yes a contest with the blessings of the administrators. Maybe name the part, maybe those who can bring the most new members in a given time...somthing like that. Ok guys...I will donate at least three of these maybe more. I am not out to make $$$ but share with others in this neat publication. Give me some ideas. None for sale at this time but as said I am willing to donate some of these to this sight.

Sounds like a gold mine! Did you attend a garage sale at Rob Fortier's place or something?

You Might try a ebay auction similar to what CG did with the t-shirt, Might get some decent money out of one Mag that you could Donate to the Board????

Re: WOW-New Copies-Classic Truck 10/03 How to tell the difference between 67-72 GM Tr
Ok...done.
1) I will put one up for sale on ebay and 100% of the proceeds will go to the board. That leaves 12 magazines. (I want to keep at least one, 70cstjr gets one, and I have promised one to another person 15-3=12 2) Josh...how about a membership contest. Whoever signs up the most new members in a given period will be awarded a free Classic Trucks magazine. That leaves 11 3) If someone can post a what is it picture on the General discussion side...I will award the winner a free Classic Trucks magazine. that leaves 10 4) Other ideas? As mentioned I cannot remember when or where I got these but lets have some fun with these magazines! Sure I could sell each one on ebay just to make money...but this hobby is more than just about money. Maybe I'm getting senile??

Re: WOW-New Copies-Classic Truck 10/03 How to tell the difference between 67-72 GM Tr
On one of the boards I frequent they do a monthly drawing of names of people who have replied to in a giveway post. At the end of the month they put all the people's names in a hat and the winner gets a prize. You could do one thread like that for a fun thread.
