shocks + sway bar= good

Ive had 2" drop coils on the front of my truck for a while now, with the stock shocks. Well I finally got around to installing the toxic drop shocks. At the same time I installed my 1 1/4" sway bar and polyurathane greasable bushings. All I can say is WOW

The truck is a different animal. Cornering at a high rate of speed is actually a option now. All I need to finish it off is the rest of the drop kit installed [this weekend!].

To anyone not running good shocks and a BIG sway bar, I highly recommend it!!

Your talking about the 79, right?

How much of a difference do you think there is between the bar you gave me (1-1/8) and the 1-1/4 bar? Anyone tried both and have something to say about the difference?

I have cheap shocks on right now, but I plan to buy some good shocks soon.

Did you try that tranny crossmember yet, or is that for this weekend?

Yes on my 79. The 78 will never have a sway bar. Gota help the weight transfere as much as possable ya know?

The difference between a 1 1/16 and 1 1/4 bar I have no idea. This is the first sway bar Ive ever used. Im sure it would help a little, but not a huge change that you could easily tell.
Im going to drop the truck off for the exaust on friday [hopfully]
It depends on when my a/f guage gets here so I can have them weld in the 02 bung at the same time.

I also agree. I got front shocks and that helped but when I added the sway bar it made such a big difference
